CHILD SEAT SAFETY CHECKS
The Columbia County Sheriff's Office participates in the National Standardized Child Passenger Safety Program.
The Sheriff's Office has Child Passenger Safety Technicians coordinated by Sergeant Peter Grzeskow, who is also a Technician. The Sheriff's office technicians have successfully completed the Safe Kids Worldwide National Standardized Child Passenger Safety Training. Child passenger safety checks and/or installations need to be by appointment only at the Public Safety Facility except for those special events advertised throughout the year. To have your child's car seat installation checked, or if you need help installing your car seat by one of our certified CPS technicians, please call 518-828-3344 leave your information so that an appointment can be made.
