                             NIVERVILLE MOTORCYCLE CRASH
                                                            April 3, 2010

Kinderhook, NY – Columbia County Sheriff David W. Harrison, Jr. reports that Deputy Sheriff’s are investigating a
personal injury motorcycle crash that occurred 3:13am this morning.  Sgt. William Zincio, while on routine patrol,
located a motorcycle that was on fire as a result of crashing into a tree on state route 9 at the intersection with
Schodack Landing Road in the Town of Kinderhook.  The operator, Ryan Goodall of Saratoga Avenue,
Mechanicville, NY had been ejected from the motorcycle upon impact. The motorcycle slid approximately five
hundred feet prior to crashing. Goodall was transported to the Albany Medical Center for internal injuries.  He was
wearing a helmet while he was operating the 2003 Yamaha motorcycle.
      
Sgt. Zincio observed the motorcycle earlier traveling at a high rate of speed but was not able to pull it over.  The
Sergeant remained in the area checking for the motorcycle when he came upon the accident.

Sheriff Harrison said that the investigation is continuing and charges are pending.

The Niverville Fire Company assisted at the scene.

Kris Bauhoff and the Sheriff’s Office Incident and Accident Scene Unit with Deputy Sheriff’s Brendan Filli and
