SHERIFF'S OFFICE ARRESTS 2 FOR POSSESSING STOLEN PROPERTY
August 27, 2009
Philmont, NY – Columbia County Sheriff David W. Harrison, Jr. reports that two individuals were arrested August 5th @ 8:
55pm as result of the investigation of a burglary to a residence that occurred on Church Street in the Village of Philmont July
27th.
Deputy Sheriff Peter Grzeskow, Criminal Investigators Mark Dunspaugh and Patrick Logue arrested Brandon Luciano, 22 years
old of Parkwood Blvd. Hudson and 21 year old David Zukowski of Main Street Philmont and charged them each with Criminal
Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree, a class A-Misdemeanor.
Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators recovered most of the stolen property in the City of Hudson.
Arraigned in the Greenport Town Court by Judge Robert Brenzel, Zukowski was ROR’d and Luciano was remanded to the
county jail in lieu of $1,000.00 cash or $2,000.00 bail bond. Zukowski and Luciano were ordered to return to the Hudson City
Court at a later date.
The investigation is continuing by Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators and additional arrests and charges are pending.
