      BURGLARY ARRESTS BY SHERIFF'S INVESTIGATORS
                                                       August 27, 2009

Greenport, NY – Columbia County Sheriff David Harrison, Jr. reports that two individuals have been arrested
following the investigation into burglaries of Columbia Tractor on route 9H in West Ghent and Hudson River Tractor
on route 203 in Chatham.  Kalynn Hall, 23 years old of Dalton MA. was charged with one count of Grand Larceny
3rd degree, a class D-felony.  An Arrest Warrant for Burglary 3rd degree has been issued for Noah Wixom, 28
years old of Plainsfield, MA., who is currently in custody at the Berkshire House of Corrections in Berkshire County
Massachusetts on unrelated charges.  Hall and Wixom broke into Hudson River Tractor on August 5th and the
Columbia Tractor August 17th.  Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators Patrick Logue, Anthony Brahm and Sr.
Investigator Kevin Skype recovered stolen power equipment, valued at approximately $13,000.00 belonging to both
businesses, from five different locations in Berkshire County.  

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators were members of the New York State Police - Livingston
Barracks and the Berkshire County Drug Task Force.

Hall turned herself in at the Sheriff’s Office August 25th and was arrested by Logue and Skype.  Arraigned in the
Claverack Town Court by Judge Michael Brandon Hall, was ror’d and ordered to return to the Claverack Town Court
September 8th at 6pm.  Wixom will face extradition once he is released from Berkshire County Corrections.  Hall and
Wixom have additional charges pending.
